Miami!

 

Finally anchored in Miami, after 25 hours from Key West! An ordinary sail with light winds. About forty percent motoring and sixty percent sailing.

 

We arrived at the port of Miami around noon. The currents and waves outside the entrance were high, but once inside, it calmed down. Inside the port, the traffic was intense. Jetskis, fishing boats, superyachts, ferries and cargo ships in all directions. At the same time we had to keep a sharp eye on the charts, as you can run aground if you astray just a little bit from the dredged channels.

 

We eventually made it through the maze and into the anchorage between tall apartment buildings. We are now all set and can finally relax with a cold beer!
