Puerto Real.

This is our last port before departing for Cuba. It is a small fishing village on the SW side of Puerto Rico. Not many people here speak English, and few yachties stop here.

When you drop into a local bar, they have a lot of advice to give you. The music in the bar is usually three times louder than the people trying to explain things in broken English. So it's a challenge to hear what they say. But it's part of the charm.

Anyways, the bartender turned out to be a SHARK HUNTER! He had a box full of shark teeth, and he had lots of pictures and shark jaws hanging around in his bar. He told Kristine that some times the tiger sharks comes into into the bay at low tide. So now Kristine will never more swim in this harbour.

We ordered a shark calzone for $1.50 at the bar, so once again Kristine ate her enemy before it ate her.

A house boat moored in the harbour.
