Brunost!
Today we visited the city of Charleston, South Carolina. It is one if the oldest cities in America. Downtown was very nice, with lots if brick buildings, a nice market and several pubs and restaurants. We met up with Jim and Paula on 'White Gold', James and Mel on 'Blew Beyond', and of course Durita and Stamen on 'Gaia'.
In the grocery shop, we were pleasently surprised to find both Jarlsberg and Brunost.

Having a pint at the local Irish pub.

Kristine is happy. They sell Norwegian brown cheese here. They call it 'Ski Queen', and it's quite expensive. US$8 for this small package.

Today's taste sample: Norwegian Jarlsberg cheese!

Wine in shop.

Great selection. And cheap!

Nice stairs.

Kristine is lost in the garden, as usual.

It must be a full-time job keeping this garden up to standards.

Streets of Charleston.

Find the squirrel.

Jesus Christ. These are the rules for wading in a public fountain. Also: No lifeguard on duty. America!!

Fire truck.

A cigar shop. You were allowed to smoke cigars and drink wine inside.

A nice irish pub.

A huge indoor/outdoor marketplace.
